Anthony Hopkins Lends His Voice to The Cancer Project

Acclaimed actor Anthony Hopkins recently donated his time and talent to tape two powerful new public service announcements on the ability of a healthy vegetarian diet to prevent and fight cancer.

The TV PSA, “Technology,” contrasts the developments in high-tech cancer detection and treatment with the relatively undiscovered power of healthy food. As Sir Anthony says, in his incomparably rich voice, “Today, doctors are talking about what might be the most important weapon of all: The food we eat.”

The spot also features four PCRM doctors: Neal Barnard, M.D., Aysha Akhtar, M.D., Daran Haber, M.D., and Carolina Amador, M.D.

Hopkins also recorded a radio PSA focusing on the power of fruits, vegetables, and other high-fiber vegetarian foods to fight cancer.
