FODMAPS

Good morning. Any suggestions for us that may need to be on a low FODMAP diet? I believe that I have problems with soy, most other legumes and some nuts. I do seem to be able to tolerate seeds. I and considering following the diet, but keeping the soy and bean level low and see if I can tolerate them.

I keep the soy out (no tofu, tempeh, soymilk, etc.) Can you have lentils? They work well as a protein in most dishes in lieu of beans. Also, maybe do small (tiny portion) tests of different beans - a friend of ours can eat black, white, and garbanzo beans just fine but not pinto beans or soybeans.

Hello, I am new to the vegan lifestyle and I am praying that I stay on the course. I just had another birthday and my health and lifestyle needed a big change. A couple years back I was diagnosed with kidney problems but not to the point that I needed treatment. My Doctor told me that I needed to cut meat out of my diet completely . Did I listen? No. Plus I have high blood pressure, which I was not willing to start medication for Razz Razz
