Holiday Gift Ideas

Some holiday gift ideas: Dr. Esselstyn's new DVD, Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease is excellent including an awesome presentation by Mrs. Esselstyn. Jeff Novick's Calorie Density DVD is enlightening. I am getting someone a really good stainless steel wide-mouth thermos so they can take along warm vegan food anywhere. any other ideas?

That wasn't a technical glitch by the way. Just my way of letting you know that I bought four copies.

The only ones we really shop for in our family any more are the children. My daughter was a vegetarian and later vegan from 10 years on, until she married a omnivore, now she eats some fish and feeds her family organic meats. So since my granddaughter is not quite 4, she got a pair of Tom's shoes that are pink glittered. Her favorite color is PINK! (more please). My grandson at 1-1/2 years old will get a small wooden train (mom's request). So my shopping went easy! I love the ideas presented here though and if for some reason someone else crops up on my list, I will give this a thought before I shop!
Always offer kindness and a soft word to the beings around you; You do not know their journey. Your words can be the hug they need or the shove that breaks them.

Thanks to all who replied. I got the thermos from Amazon.com. Its called Thermos Element 5 16-ounce Leak Proof Food Jar www.amazon.com/Thermos-Element-16-Ounce-Leak-Proof-Food/dp/B000FOMOXW I take 2 with me every day. I use one for soup. The other I use for an already baked potato. It could also be used for chili, beans, anything you like, even cold stuff. Just make sure you snap on the lid before twisting it. The real beauty of it is that you can take plant-based food with you when you are away from home and have complete control over what food you eat. Happy Holidays!
