mind my own business or intervene

what would you do? I have a FB "friend", a beautiful young woman who is obese and has developed type II diabetes. of course her conventional medicine dr. pumped her full of meds and told her the best diet is a paelo diet, which we all know is a bunch of crap. I want to tell her about a plant strong diet but I'm not sure if it will be taken very well. advice please.

It won't be taken well simply because her Doctor, the expert in her life, has told her otherwise.

I would suggest simply buy her the book "Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes: The Scientifically Proven System for Reversing Diabetes without Drugs."

I would say, "I care about you and I'm worried about you, I think this book may help you make some decisions about your health." The rest is up to her.

I know the heartache of watching someone you love eat themselves to death. It's sad, but unfortunately the only one that can make the change is them.

Vikki, if I could give you a hug, I would, That is fantastic advice! I know everyone has to do for themselves, but it's hard to watch people believe in junk medicine.
