I have a FB "friend", a beautiful young woman who is obese and has developed type II diabetes. of course her conventional medicine dr. pumped her full of meds and told her the best diet is a paelo diet, which we all know is a bunch of crap. I want to tell her about a plant strong diet but I'm not sure if it will be taken very well. advice please.

I would suggest simply buy her the book "Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes: The Scientifically Proven System for Reversing Diabetes without Drugs." I would say, "I care about you and I'm worried about you, I think this book may help you make some decisions about your health." The rest is up to her.
