Fiber-how much is too much?

Hi Everyone,

Anyone have any issues with the quantity of fiber? Do you ever get used to it? I don't want to go into detail but I can gather you all know what I'm talking about. Shocked

If you are not used to eating plants (fiber), then you are definitely in for a surprise. Usually what happens, and I'm making an assumption here, is food starts to move rather quickly through the digestive tract. You may find yourself going to the bathroom more often. That's a GOOD THING. That's fiber's job.

Your body will eventually get over the shock and settle into its new fiber-full diet. It's also okay to pull back on the fiber a little bit and add it in more slowly over the next few weeks.

Haha, that's kinda of what I was thinking. I've always been a decent veggie eater, beans as well and always chose whole grain bread when eating bread I guess I am just eating that much more now. I'm not bothered by it, but my feeling is my family is based on the recent comedic comments.
