Plant-based eating is working
Posted Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 1:51 PM

I never go to the doctor or have tests but I decided to have my cholesterol checked after eating whole food plant-based and went for a cholesterol check last week. I called on Friday and my overall cholesterol is 142.

congratulations! It is such a good feeling when our actions support us!

Always offer kindness and a soft word to the beings around you; You do not know their journey. Your words can be the hug they need or the shove that breaks them.

Congratulations Veganer.

Ever since FOK came to earth I've been hearing literally thousands of success stories from, shall we say, adherents of a wholefood plant-based dietary lifestyle. But it's especially nice to hear one from a good friend and sworn-in member of the Kickstart family.

Best to you.

Thank you so much slt, Oceandog, and Theodore.
I appreciate it.
All the time and energy I spent doing the 21 day vegan kickstart, trying new foods such as kale,
learning how to cook, reading Dr. Barnard's books and videos, reading other plant-based information, trying new things until I found a meal plan that works for me, all are totally worth it. To have good health is worth a lot.
Thank you all for being a great community of plant-based eaters.

slt, let us know how your blood tests turn out.
Good luck.
