cbaber Joined: 01/02/12 Posts: 14	Banana Substitute? Posted Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 9:22 AM I'd love to try the Oatmeal Banana Bites (from Day 1), but is there an alternative to using bananas? Sounds like a silly question, considering the name of the recipe, but I like all the other ingredients, and bananas are the one food the good lord put on this earth that I cannot stand! Maybe use a little more applesauce?

I think apple sauce would make for a different consistency but it could be really tasty. A date or prune puree could work too. Lots of interesting options. Let us know if you try any! Posted Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 12:53 PM I have tried the pumpkin, as I am a pumpkin lover, but it didn't have enough flavor, and a bit too dry, so I would up the spices the next time and add more apple sauce maybe?
