Best Food Processor?
Posted Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1:15 PM

I've been using my blender for most things, but a food processor would be better for some. I have one, but it has a lot of parts and it's a pain to assemble/disassemble/clean. I'm wondering if there are better ones. I don't think I need a lot of bells & whistles, just one for daily cooking & baking. Any suggestions?

I got the new (16 cup!) Cuisinart when Williams-Sonoma had it on sale during the holidays. (It's still at the reduced price.) It really is an awesome machine... very easy to clean, no leaks, and lots of great features. The best part for me is the three nesting bowls so you always have the right size. It's my first FP, but I feel it was worth waiting for. Cuisinart and others have been putting DVDs in with their products lately, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching what to do instead of trying to figure out static diagrams!
