Silly Popcorn Question

Okay, for all you popcorn lovers out there. How do you get the nutritional yeast to stick to your air-popped popcorn? It just falls to the bottom of the bowl!

I also have that problem, last night I tried sprinkling with soy sauce then the Nut yeast and it still ended up on the bottom. It was good but I ate too much and this morning had gained a pound. I think I'll go back to eating it plain or dipping it into salsa.

From another vegan forum I learned you can spray the popped corn with water then sprinkle on your nutritional yeast. It sticks pretty well that way and the water doesn't make it soggy. I use a spray bottle that I got in the cosmetic department of our local Fred Meyer (Kroger). It puts out a pretty fine mist. I've almost grown to prefer it plain but the yeast adds a nice touch too. I'll have to invest in a couple of little spray bottles.

Sorry to dredge this topic up from the depths, but I just have to say that I finally tried popcorn sprayed with Bragg's (just found the Braggs in a spray this weekend) and it was terrific! Thanks again for the tip.

Just thought I would add this about popcorn. It can be popped in the microwave in a safe bowl with a lid on it. I do it all the time. You just have to listen to the popping so it doesn't burn. No oil required.

I pop mine in a brown paper bag. 1/4 cup, just under 2 minutes, no oil. Perfect every time.
