I really can't follow the meal plan because of the time involved and getting to a rural store(especially lunches). However, I do use the NutritionalMD and Engine 2 recipes, etc. My question is though, as this meal plan incoporates balance, can you tell me just what balance of foods I'm looking for? Does each meal have to have the same balancee or is it throught the day? I'm more interested in the overall health rather than weight loss. Thanks! Megmcm, As Deb and Susan suggest, the Powerplate is a great reference for this! I too like to keep it really simple. Here's how I look at it. If I were to look back at my day and take all the food I'd eaten and put it on a big tray, about half of it would be piled with vegetables, the other half with what I call the 'starchies' (starchy vegetables and whole grains), there'd be about a cup or more of beans on top, a couple or more pieces of fruit, and a sprinkling of nuts or seeds. To see how this plays out on my plate each day, you may be interested in looking at my Plant-Based Blueprint 2 - Sampler which you can access for free in the header on my website plantbasedfitnessexpert.com . Sometimess just seeing how someone else does it can be a help - I know it always has been for me. Lani
