Hi there! Congrats on your pregnancy! What a coincidence - I am 4 months along on my first pregnancy myself. I'm a nutrition and cooking instructor for PCRM, so I did lots of research on the topic when I first became pregnant. PCRM has a factsheet here: http://www.pcrm.org/health/veginfo/pregnancy.html I combined this information along with the VRG link that Molly referred you to and developed a great food plan. My husband is an engineer, so he even made me a spreadsheet to track my daily food intake and it has been invaluable. I am happy to share it with you if you'd like to email me directly Basically, you'll need 8-10 glasses of water, 4-5 vegetable servings, 4-5 fruit servings, 2 servings of nuts/nut butters, 6 protein serivings and 8-10 servings of whole grains. We can chat more if you like. Congrats again! Thanks, Katherine Lawrence Instructor, PCRM & The Cancer Project www.plantbasedhealth.com katherine@plantbasedhealth.com
