We have such an intriguing array of forum handles and names - don't you find yourself curious about how they came about? Well, I do! So humor me and tell me how you came up with yours I'd love to hear how you chose yours. Plus it's a great way to introduce yourself because our 'handles' always tell a little bit more about us, yes? I had FOUR accounts... my first and preference being "gryphon". Gryphon is part of my company name. When apple went commercial with their dotMAC site, you could only keep one handle. I accidently kept gryphonpro instead of gryphon. I have been very visible on the internet for years and years. I am gryphonpro at mac, at yahoo, at hotmail, at google, I try to snap it up whenever I hear of a new site. It just helps to keep your identity, your work, and your virtual presence organized. madeline yakimchuk

(Who else requests a copy of War and Peace when they are in the nursing home for a broken pelvis??) I have been helping her and my Dad with cooking/cleaning/etc for a number of years so she always refers to me as Dobby the House Elf from Harry Potter. Pam |

Though that will be changing later in the year when my divorce is final. Great to be back participating in the Kickstart. I did all of them in 2010; it has truly changed my life for the better. This is my first one this year; I've gone back to school for retraining to support myself post divorce and that has taken up too much time. I've kept vegan the whole time--though low-fat has been a struggle--and the simplicity of eating vegan during these difficult times has been a true godsend. Didn't mean to write a book in response to a simple question! September Kickstart Goals: Walk/bike daily, keep up with forum, 100% low-fat vegan experimenting with maximizing FLAVOR!
