I was on the chat. It was clear and basic. I think they could have a larger audience if they simply used Blog Talk Radio. It's a marvelous create your own shows for free and it is an innovative spot on the internet. They can add a chat room to their weekly talk and still limit who asks the questions. The phone is rather awkward to use. B-12 - yes multi vitamin in the beginning of a vegan diet- yes fish? no these doctors eat alot of tofu I found this interesting because on one hand they were promoting eating food that was not processed, yet tofu is a highly processed food and difficult to digest. Go figure. They also admitted their information was based on their experience with their patients and not necessarily based on academic training. One doctor said he had one hour of nutrition in med school. So where are they getting their info? Could it be the same place we get it? Hmmmm..... they spoke about beans, flatulence and moderation. Cook your beans... There was a question about raw food. One doctor was saying that although the raw food movement uses alot of raw food they also tend to make (or buy) and eat highly process food (flax seed crackers, dehydrated concoctions), and so it may not be the healthiest route if one focusses on the processed foods. However, if one is to limit the processed items, it can be a healthy path for some.
That's all I remember
