Honestly

I can say I have kicked the meat habit. My daughter is still eating it, so...last night, I fried her some chicken (used to be my very favorite food) and I didnt want it. Not for one moment did I think I wanted one bite. I didnt like touching it even, but I did for her.
I dont fry foods very often, and I havent in a long time, but she wanted it that way, so, I did for a change. I really do feel better than I have in a long time. YAY Surprised

Awesome!

I felt the same way once I gave it up--like I'd been eating it all along because I felt like I was supposed to. I was RELIEVED. Laughing

While I didn't eat much red meat, I loved those Costco chickens! I'd always get the brownest ones because my favorite part was the skin. Bought the bags of frozen, cooked shimp too. Now when I walk by the meat dept. I look at those chickens on the spits and can't even imagine eating them again! I make sure not to look at the butchers cutting up portions of beef or whatever animal it might be for packaging - wish the walls weren't glass! I, too, feel such a peace with this new way of eating! I certainly wouldn't eat my cats, or my neighbor's dogs, so why would I find it acceptable to eat any other animal? Wish I'd come to this realization MANY years ago!

Yep, Costco is the test. Once you really understand what "food" is and where it really comes from, to see all of the gluttony that goes on and all of the samples and watching people stuff their mouths and their shopping carts with all of that poison... is a real eye opener.

However, there is nowhere else that I know of that you can get 10 lbs of organic Bunny Love carrots for juicing at only $5 bucks and change a bag. They also have great organic multigrain bread with very few ingredients that you can actually pronounce and spell.
