Hi, It's nice to compare meals!

Blended Lettuce smoothie:
5 oz organic romaine lettuce
4 oz almond milk
3 oz frozen bananas
scoop ORAC protein greens (pea)
scoop mango sherbert

oatmeal/cooked quinoa blend with walnuts, raisins, and diced fresh pear, splash of almond milk

black half caf coffee yummm! Very satisfying and vegan! I lost 2 lbs so far, but not in the beginning, since I've been doing it since Feb 13th.

I just picked up some Morning Star breakfast sausage patties at the store for breakfast tomorrow morning.

They just happened to be sampling them at Costco the other day when I was shopping there. I had tried the Mornin Star sausage links before and did not like the taste of them. Would rather go without.

Not sure if my tastes are just changing, but the patties really tasted like sausage! My non-veg friend tried them too and said they were pretty good.

Going to try the recipe from the Vegan Yum Yum cookbook for Tofu Eggs and Biscuits using this sausage. Makes a vegan "Sausage Egg Biscuit" breakfast sandwich.

Will let you know how it turns out.

The sausage biscuit was yummy! The Vegan Yum Yum Cookbook Tofu eggs recipe........well let's just say they will take some getting used to. The taste was good, but the mixture is "very sticky" and seems to take a long time cook. Was very hard to turn in pan.

It may take some practice to get it right
