Ya, it's been an awesome ride! Can't believe 21 days are almost up- it feels like the end of summer camp! Thanks to the Kickstart Team for providing the supportive soil for my vegan seed-head to be nurtured. I've learned so much!
I guess it's soon time to be kicked out of the nest, but the support doesn't need to disappear. I'll look for the familiar names and new ones, too, on other vegan sites. Thanks to all who provided important websites and critical links and info. Let's stick together and make a world of difference!

I also want to add my thanks. These three weeks have been awesome. I feel so energetic, always satisfied without being stuffed, have no "I have to eat and now and junk" feelings. I'll continue this indefinitely. Thanks again everyone connected with Kickstart.
Linda

ps. I've lost 4 pounds and feel like it's 10. I just feel lighter and a friend said I had lost a lot of bulk!

I have lots of energy, too! I'm sleeping less, and still feeling great. I do have occasional moments of "I HAVE TO EAT NOW and it has to be junk!" but I just eat vegan junk when that happens, and it isn't a problem. Smile

I've been a vegetarian for over a year and I'd been flirting with becoming a vegan for several months before I heard about this program. I'm so glad I did it. I feel so much better. And while I've not lost too much weight, I've lost inches - all of my clothes are bigger on me. I'm hoping that the weight will just eventually and naturally come off. We've tried lots of new and yummy recipes and have been able to eat out, which we love to do. I plan on continuing with the vegan lifestyle after our 21 days are done.

Yeah, I like my fat body, so while I am tracking what happens to my weight out of curiosity, I don't care about that aspect of it, and I don't do anything differently based on it. Mainly, I'm trying to protect my heart and my ethics. (My heart because the medications I'm on put a strain on the heart; my ethics because I really feel that if one can eat without killing or harming other beings, one should do that.)
