Healthy sweet treat

FYI - I thought I would share my latest healthy treat discovery.

4 ripe - very ripe banana's
1/4 cup almond milk (approx amnt)
1T almond nut butter **ok to omit if watching fat**
1 tsp vanilla extract

Slice the banana's and freeze them well (4-8 hours).

Add frozen slices and remaining ingredients to a food processor (blender probably won't work). Run it until the banana's magically turn into the consistency of taffy. Refreeze for about an hour.

Its like banana ice cream Very Happy

You can also add a bit of cocoa powder for chocolate, or puree frozen strawberries with agave/stevia for a strawberry sauce.

Top with chopped nuts or again, if watching fat, skip it. Its delicious with or without.

Enjoy, Kira

These are all good ideas, and I will try them. I make a frozen banana + plant milk + couple Tbsp orange juice concentrate treat whenever I feel like having ice cream. And every time I have to say: WOW! It is soooo much better than ice cream!
