Eating out
Posted Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:26 AM

I was called to dinner for business so many times in the past two weeks and at a conference for the past 3 days. Having vegan meals was so incredibly easy, and the restaurants took upon themselves as a challenge. I ended up with far better looking and tasing meals than those I was having dinner with.
Another wonderful side-effect. I haven't had to use my inhaler or asthma medication. I think it could possibly be the no dairy. Can't wait to ask my doctor about that.

My experience eating out is that it's kind of "all or nothing." Either the restaurant is totally cooperative, willing to make accomodations and come up with something great. Or there is the menu, that's what we have, period.

Some of my business lunceons are simply everybody gets what they are serving. Those are the ones that are tough. I bring my own salad dressing, eat the salad and baked potato.
