What R U eating Tues April 12?

Hi All,
It's another beautiful day.. sun is shinning.

So last night i had a smoothie for a snack and as i do so often I fell asleep on the couch after watching dancing with the stars. I got a bit restless and woke up because i had to go to the bathroom. But in my dreams i was dancing!! and i was pretty good! well it was MY dream. Laughing

So today is back to work. Cereal and leftovers. I have made a garden salad w/chickpeas to help it along.

So what are you eating today???

B: same ole
L: leftovers from last night's dinner - steamed broccoli and a wonderful mix hubby created: cooked brown rice mixed with cooked white and black beans, raisins, craisins, and a sprinkle of cumin - sweet spicy, yum
D: homemade black bean patties on homemade whole wheat bagels with homemade pickle chips and agave-sweetened organic ketchup; possibly a slice or two of avocado (if the ones we've got are still good)
S: apple, banana

Dancing in your dreams. I love it!

b: steel cut oats with cinnamon and apples and a splash of almond milk
s: TBD ~ fruit
l: baked potato topped with mixed veggies
s: popcorn, air-popped
d: leftover bean pot medley (aka calico beans) served over cooked spinach. Maybe a small salad.

B: Almond bread / PB / 1/2 Banana
S: Fiber cookie (my own recipe)
L: veggy soup with beans
S: Apple
D: Rice pasta / Vegan bolognese sauce/ Salad / Brussels sprouts

Came in super early to work!
B- Green Tea + Raw Revolution Bar
L- Leftover vegan lasagna(I had the brown rice variety on hand and since I dont care for soy based or almond based cheese, its loaded with veggies and homemade marinanra sauce and red chilly flakes yummm!)
S- Will snack on Mary Gone Crackers (Got them from Whole Foods). They are made from rice, quinoa and seeds and have an onion flavoring
D- Maybe will settle in for some soup

B - Green godness juice and strawberries and banana
Am Snack - small amount of L/O quinoa, red beans and veggies
L - rice, beans and kale
PM snack - ????
D - salade with LOTS of veggies and a corn wrap pizza w/ broccoli, mushrooms, artichokes and pesto...mmmmm

I tend to be quite adventurous in my dreams, not so much when I am wide awake though. Rolling Eyes

B-oatmeal,applesauce,pumpkin,raisins,cinnamon,vanilla
L-small baked potato w/leftover cuban black beans
D-whole wheat rotini and Jeff Novick's Fast Food Italian concoction (whole tomatoes,collard greens, mixed veggies,italian spices-may or may not add beans), side salad -romaine,tomato,shred carrot.

cj - don't you just love jeff novicks fast food? We enjoy the power lunch.. even for dinner. Who would have ever thought those flavors go together? That way we aren't eating the same flavors everyday. I mean i put garlic or a hot spice/peppers in almost everything.

L: leftover bok choy stir fry, ummm so good, I threw everything I could think of in it!
D: black bean burritos and mexican corn salad
S: don't usually have any, but today everything is calling my name, so probably will have something Laughing

S: handful of grapes
L: romaine lettuce w/fat-free raspberry vinagrette
S/D?: blackberries, apple, granola bars

working late today, didnt pack a proper dinner. may eat when i get home, not sure yet...

I am a HUGE fan of Jeff Novick's Fast Food. What could be simpler than frozen veggies and greens, canned beans, and herbs/spices served over rice or pasta or potatoes. Terrific and healthy and affordable. Love it.

I did a high intensity 10 minute cardio workout, felt like doing more but didn't...I want to stay consitant...will add more minutes slowly...

Today I had cold whole grain cereal with almond milk

Snacked on baked tortilla chips with variety of hummus and salsa
Ambrosia fruit salad

And will have a portabello mushroom burger with all the fixens including LOW FAT Veganaise...oh and that Jalapeno ginger coleslaw that they put on today sounded real good. I got to go get some cabbage and ginger... and wil make some homemade baked fries. I am going to try to make my own bean burgers for the family since they dont like mushrooms.
I might make popcorn tonight with a little earth balance butter and watch dancing with the stars eliminations, Go Kirstie Alley, despite her little mishaps that have happened, I like her she is a trooper on this show and she is good,despite her age and weight issues, she is overcoming them and she comes out and DANCES..I missed it last night. Sad

Your welcome Cynthia. Glad you got your vegan restaurant guide. Hope everyone else did too.

I tried the Kickstart Barbeque-Style Portabellos and loved them! They tasted like steak and the sauce is out of this world. I never cooked portabellos before. The kickstart motivates me to get out of my comfort zone.

B - 1/4 cantaloupe and 1/2 banana

L - stirfried veggies and rice

D - leftover sloppy joe mixture with ww bun, 1/2 cup vegetarian beans, and green peas with corn

B - Red Mill 5 grain cereal, blueberries, banana, flax seed, splash rice milk

S - giant carrots! (I'm hooked!)

L - spinach salad with kidney beans and beets; avocado tomato sandwich on wholegrain bread

S - apple, toasted nori, mango

D - big veggie wrap on wholegrain lavash w/pinto beans, brown rice, salsa, corn, and fresh spinach.
