Vegan Waffles?

What brands are out there? I haven't had any luck finding truly vegan waffles. I bought the Van's waffles -- no eggs, but they do have honey. That doesn't particularly bother me, since I don't think eating honey and veganism are mutually exclusive ... but there are lots of vegans who don't share that opinion with me.

I looked at the Van's website. It looks like they have several varieties that have no honey. If your market carries only the ones with honey, perhaps you could ask them order a different type.

Mix wise Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat Pancake/Waffle Mix is vegan. I'm not seeing any mainstream brands that are in the list. I'll check my book and post back.

You might find Peta's Accidentally Vegan list handy:

I'm not seeing anything other than what you could find in a health food store. You may want to check there. Sometimes it is very regional as to brands.

Also note Betty Crocker Bisquick is vegan so if you can modify the recipes for that you have vegan. Use Ener-G as a sub for the eggs.
