Too much goodness?
Posted Friday, October 12, 2012 at 6:15 AM

This morning, I'm wondering about my breakfast.

I'm reading 'The Lean' by Kathy Freston, so I decided to super food up my breakfast, but is it too much?

-1/2 cup oats
-tablespoon chia seeds
-teaspoon black strap molasses
-1/2 ounce goji berries
-1/3 ounce soya cream
-2 tablespoons flax seed
-1/3 ounce yeast flakes with b12
(and cinnamon, ground gloves, sea salt and black pepper)

Thanks!

I don't think it's too much. If weight loss were an issue, I might sub out a lower fat version of the soy cream. How did it taste??

So-called "superfoods" are more hype than reality. But they can be fun. I wrote about this for Vegan Mofo here. I have fun cramming a lot into my oatmeal, but it always centers on fresh and dried berries, raw cacao and either ground flax or chia.
