Easy Bean Dip
Posted Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 7:10 PM
When you made the "Easy Bean Dip," did you make it with or without the spinach? I watched the video, which mentioned the spinach, so I decided to try it. It was delicious, but would it have been okay without it?

Yes, I made the dip without spinach and it was great.

Now that I've made it with the spinach, can't imagine it any other way. It's so nice and quick, though. That's what I like about so many of the recipes for the KS. They are quick, but also very tasty. I really loved the Quick Stir-fry. Never thought of actually buying stir-fry sauce before.

I did not use spinach, for whatever reason spinach gives me a wicked stomach ache. So I just used beans, salsa and cumin. It was great! I decided I liked it better heated up though, the bean dip warmed in the oven just fantastic. Hard to stop eating it. LOL

The video is on "Today's Message" for Day 6. It's to the right of the area that says "Today's Meal Plan and Recipes." The person demonstrates how to make the bean dip and also another recipe I'd like to try. It's for fruity quinoa yogurt. I'd also like to try the bean dip heated up. Hot or cold, it sure is yummy! I agree on that!
