Yesterday's NY Times had an article about organic foods

I remember learning about carrageenan in the almond milk, etc. from this forum. They mention that in the article too. I remember reading about the big companies buying out the small ones (there is no mention of the parent company on the boxes) and here is a link (from 2009) http://www.organicconsumers.org/Organic/organicT30J09.pdf which I found at http://www.thedailygreen.com/healthy-eating/latest/organic-foods-benefits-460110

One update I can think of is Cadbury being owned by Kraft now. I really liked Green & Black's dark chocolate with ginger, but haven't had it for many months Smile

One thing I don't know where the organic store brand products come from in my regular supermarket. I'd better prepare a message and ask about it.
