fish, sea animals and pain

I'd love some articles and more information on this...so many people think that fish or shellfish, like lobster and shrimp, are too insignificant to feel pain. Is there any information to support that this is not true?

I'd love to hear that, but of course my friends who eat their daily tuna sandwich for lunch will be angry with me!

In general though - sea vegetables are okay, right? Like...nori, wakame, the seaweed w rapping that goes around the sushi> etc..there are so many kinds of seaweed!

Thanks guys~!

I'm curious, what determines signifigance or lack there of? And how can one know whether or not a fish feels pain? Bottom line is, they're living creatures. As far as I know there's no problem with eating sea vegetables any more than there would be those grown on land out of the sea.
