My skin seems really dry

I dont know if it's possible in only one week, but my skin seems exceptionally dry. I have always eaten low fat but never this low. Is that normal and what can I do. kc

Dr. McDougall says to lubricate from the outside instead of inside: that is, use moisturizer.

It's probably winter-dry, happens to me every year at this time too! Unless you're in the tropics! I was last week and never needed a spot of lotion as there is so much moisture in the air. But now that I'm back in N. Ca, it's bring out the moisturizer!

Just a thought.

My skin has dried out in as fast as a week before, from diet. Make sure you're getting some fat in your diet, you need those Omega 3s and 6s. Flaxseed, other seeds and nuts and avocados are the best choices. Other than that, I agree with the previous posters – moisturize!
