nights and irregular schedule

I was just wondering if anyone else doing the kickstart works nights with an irregular schedule? I would appreciate any suggestions for success. I enjoy my job and am unwilling to change it but at the same time I know that working nights does affect your metabolism and ability to lose weight. I think I am far healthier on this diet so far but I don't think I have lost more than 10 pounds. I started in July on my own actually because I didn't know this would pick up again in September so it's been longer for me. It's really hard to tell how much weight I have lost because my weight can vary by 3 pounds in just a day, and I don't know why. I drink water and avoid salt so water weight shouldn't be a factor. I also avoid processed foods although I do keep a few things around the house for those times when my schedule goes crazy, like tofurky links and Trader Joes vegan items.
