underweight from vegan diet

Does anybody have trouble maintaining a healthy weight from a vegan diet especially those that works out at least 5 hrs a week doing a combo of strength and cardio training.

Females have anybody lost their period from vegan diet

Next question if nuts and nut butters are not recommended diet, what should one that cant maintain weight eat.

5 hours a week is not heavy training. Marathon runners, triathletes, chess players, all need to provide their body with thousands of calories a day we normal folk don't need, but 5 hours a week is not in that realm. It is something we should strive for as health conscious people.

If you are losing weight, eat more whole vegetables, legumes/cereals and fruit, in that order. Nuts are for the occasional treat. They are too concentrated, unless you are doing the more than five hours a day a person in serious training does.
