I just posted about a comment about dairy and cheese under another topic(the PCRM one) as this is a cheese/dairy loving nation (New Zealand) andits everywhere so a challenge to avoid. This has literally just come into my email. Talk about good timing.

Got the Facts On Milk
Recommended Documentary - DVD

Amazon Promo Code: JMCDGL20

Dr. John McDougall says: "The information in this DVD would prevent suffering and loss of life for billions of people if applied. Giving up dairy is an even more important step to take than avoiding beef."
Dr. Greg Miller, executive vice president of science and research for the National Dairy Council said in an interview:
The "Got the Facts on Milk" film has been on our radar for a while."

Has anyone seen it? I am going to have to order it for myself.

OK, you've got 29 views and no replies yet so I thought I would at least post something, if only to say that I hadn't heard of it before you mentioned it. I just checked Amazon and it only has 1 review so far, but the description claims:

Quote:

Got the facts on Milk? has won several film festival awards, including the audience award at the 2008 Rhode Island International Film Festival, and has outraged filmgoers around the world. It sparked a riot at the South Korea Green Film Festival, shocked the audience at DocAviv Documentary Film Festival in Israel, and traumatized attendees of the EcoCinema Environmental Film Festival.

thanks -

Im not sure about the "traumatized" part of the review or what that means. I know that animals are not treated kindly to say the least in some farming practices but I cant watch documentaries that show what goes on. Just knowing is enough. Like I cant watch animals being slaughtered although I know they have been every time I walk past the meat counter at the market. I grew up on a farm and that was enough for me Exclamation
