Do you feel any better

I had Veggie Mcnuggets/Salad/Peaches and brown rice. Not bad. I have not seen any weight loss since I started this Kickstart on the 4 of January.

Hi ! I started this diet in early Dec. and feel just fine on it. I work out @ the gym several days a week & have lots of energy. I love this diet but have lost 5 lbs. I didn't need to lose. Same for my wife. If you stick with this & believe in it, You'll probably succeed. I think it takes 5 meals a day to make it work FOR ME. One of the great things about this diet is that it allows you to consume more quantity of food without adding unnecessary calories. Each person will have their own consumption needs. Don"t skip the mid morning smoothies. They are nutritious & challenge your creativity. Delicious ! Hang in there !

I started at the beginning of Jan also and I'm just starting to see my weight dropping a bit. My glucose readings are also much better than they've been in a while as well (they went 'off' during the holidays when I was 'off' from what I knew to eat well and exercise enough). It's the same pattern I saw in the Sept kickstart - took about 2 weeks for things to kick into gear and then even after the kickstart ended, I saw a few additional pounds leave, sort of 'carry over' in the process. This time, I'm going to work really hard to not lose track of how I want to be once the kickstart ends. --Deb R

I started in March of 2010, didn't see any weight loss until the summer of 2010, when I started riding my bicycle in earnest. I felt better immediately, without any weight loss.

I started myself on a small exercise program. I have noticed a significant increase in strength - can lift and carry heavy objects much better than before. Doing three exercises with hand weights - only three pounds each - 10 reps and up to 3 sets. I do this every other day. When I started the diet, I weighed 104 lbs., which I figured was about ideal for me. Have lost 8 lbs. That has concerned me, but I think the weight now has stabilized at 96 lbs.

That has concerned me, but I think the weight now has stabilized at 96 lbs. and, as you build muscle, it might even go back up a pound or two - which is one of those things that throws people when they start exercising and their weight increases...losing fat but building muscle. But, after that initial "shock" muscle uses calories more efficiently and weight begins to drop (if needed). --Deb R

I haven't noticed a lot of weight-loss as I did when I was a raw vegan, but I have a TON of energy, which helps at the gym. I decided to get used to being a vegan then began at the gym this past Tuesday with Zumba then morning workouts. Keep it up! I'm hoping to see the weight loss too. It will just fall off one day! Keep up the good work. Also, keep in mind...this is a lifestyle, if you decided to stay a vegan after the 21-day mark. It will change your life!
