Cupcakes
Posted Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:35 AM
So, I am having a social for my hall at my University and wanted to make vegan cupcakes. I'm not going to tell anyone that they are vegan because I know they won't eat them. I have "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" and wanted to know if anyone had made the vanilla and chocolate ones before? Also, if anyone has a great vegan cupcake recipe (plus frosting), I would love to try it! Thanks!

this was posted in the thread fab cupcakes.. RE: Fab Cupcakes!!! Posted Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 8:38 PM I made the Golden Vanilla cupcakes from the "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" cookbook for a party last week. EVERYONE ate them up and couldn't stop saying how delicious and moist they were. They are now my go-to cupcake recipe forever!

I am trying the tiramisu recipe and modifying it. I used almond milk, which curdled nice. And changing the frosting. I'm having my non-vegan friend try them! I'm very excited!!

I've never heard of this cookbook! The title alone is worth a purchase! I know that Colleen Patrick-Goudreau has some amazing cupcake recipes in her Joy of Vegan Baking as well as Color Me Vegan (book review here Color Me Vegan Take over the world. Indeed! Lani Facebook
