My health & weight successes as a vegan

Vegan success story.

At age 49 I was experiencing many ill affects from twenty years of ulcerative colitis, high cholesterol of 312, 275 pound weight, depression, strong prescription drugs. My life was falling apart.

Here in TN obesity is #2 in the nation, so a local newspaper wrote an excellent article on my vegan lifestyle yielding major health gains and over 100 pounds weight loss. Read the article at either below link:

Hope the article motivates you to make changes that add years to your life and life to your years.

My daughter went to Weimar several years ago for an unusual health problem that Stanford University Hospital could not find and sent her home, basically to die.

Weimar got to the bottom of it and I am now a Grandma! 3 cheers for...

Always offer kindness and a soft word to the beings around you; You do not know their journey. Your words can be the hug they need or the shove that breaks them.

All I can say is "wow" and hurray for getting your daughter to Weimar.

I saw awesome health recoveries there, due to vegan diet and their uexceptionally devoted staff members. Docs and staff treat it as their "mission" to cure people, not just a day job.

I slept in the car for a week! I had dogs and couldn't stay inside but she turned 16 while there and I wasn't going to miss it! They did wonderful things for her, she had already been veg for a while but there were other issues afoot, she is great now.

I am so pleased they helped you and that you have taken the time to help others. Good for you!!!
