What was your food today Thurs Jan 20?

oh my.. i didn't post this today!!!
well by now most of you have an idea what you REALLY ate today... i know it changes.. someone drops over..

today i had oatmeal again.. with blueberries..
then lunch was chili and a whole wheat biscuit
dinner was the last of rips burritos and a bean pattie..

i am still a little hungry.. i might try some vanilla tea..
maybe i am just thirsty...

so what did today turn out to be for you???

B: Gluten free home made scone with tofutti cream cheese. 80z. Chocolate almond milk.

L:Thai soup, small apple and rice chips.

D: Gluten free pasta with marinara sauce.

S: Soy latte my hubby brought home for me. How sweet was that.

Awful day! Stayed vegan, but I ate too much junk and empty calories. Made up for it with a good dinner at least.

I was wondering where this post was today Smile Nothing real good to contribute, I'm too sick to devote time to food (hubby thinks its bronchitis). Company coming tomorrow for a meeting if the weather holds. I bought some "no-nos", but won't eat any. If I felt better and had more time I'd make something vegan - I think it would be appreciated, but between feeling bad and not trying any deserts I'll just stick to what I know.

B: oatmeal and applesauce
L: slice of rye
D: pasta/ca blend veggies w/no cheese sauce

B: muesli with alm. milk, blueberries, bananas
L: left-over stir fry veggies with polenta
S: home-made guacamole with chips
D: vegetable tempura with steamed rice

I am glad you posted this! It has become a much looked forward to daily posting for me.

B: oil free hash browns with onions and spinach

S: leftover steamed veggies and edamame
S: banana

L: lunch meeting at a local Italian restaurant. Had veggie pizza with no cheese. Delish! It was white crust, so not perfect, but very good. Plusni had leftovers which I promptly gave to a co-worker because imdecided I didn't need more.

D: I made a "snap" meal, a la McDougall program, I used some leftover marinara sauce, and added diced fire roasted tomatoes, a can of cannilini beans, and a bag of frozen mixed veggies (asparagus, snap peas, carrots, peppers, onions, etc) and some garlic, and Italian seasoning. I served that over brown rice. So simple. So good.

S: I am not hungry. But, if I want something before bed, probably a diced apple, microwaved with some cinnamon and brown sugar.

so glad you posted pippin.. i was sitting here friday am. .. trying to figure out what i wanted for lunch....well i made the power lunch one time and loved it... but i don't have any nutrional yeast here.. so that's out.. but you posted.. and gave me an idea..

i am cooking brown rice.. mix with a can of beans.. and tomatoes instead of the nutrional yeast... and then my greens...bok choy and kale..

ta dah.. lunch..

this is the one i really wanted to make....

b: same old same old cereal and plant milk
l: black & white bean soup and tossed salad
s: apple, banana
d: veggie chili and hoecakes (basically corn bread pancakes)
dessert: homemade soy free vegan chocolate pudding
