Examine your diet closely, keep a food log if you aren't already. Look for a few culprits:

1. Refined sweeteners of any kind.
2. Refined flours.
3. Refined oils.
4. Other high fat plant foods: nuts, seeds, olives and avocadoes.

Some people are so sensitive that even fruit may need to be reduced.
Good luck and keep us posted.

blood sugar is going to take time to come down - and it might feel scary as it gets to 'normal' levels, having been so high, 'normal' may feel really low. And when you feel like that, you want to go for food - test first! Trust your meter and keep a food log - it may be that corn tortilla chips or brown rice or peaches or strawberries or whatever are foods that set you off. I know that, for me, anything citrusy like oranges, berries, grapes, etc. need to be eaten cautiously because they tend to cause me more problems than things like bananas and apples. YMMV
