Jonathan Safran Foer talking about his latest book, Eating Animals, on The Colbert Report.

Anybody read this one? It's on my list.

I watched that last night too! I hope his book gets the Colbert Bump and gets people thinking. I've heard of the book, but I haven't read it. Let me know if it's any good. Smile

I'd like your book review after you read it also.

I wish Colbert would not do so much interrupting. Let the man get a word in for criminy sake!

I hate when ignorant hosts or people do this- I never watched this show but after watching this clip i never will- i understand he is trying to be funny but the majority of people who saw this prob thought oh another crazy bleeding heart vegetarian and then they paint that brush on all vegetarian information or issues and never delve deeper to find out the real issues.

oh, that's just his schtick though. colbert is actually sympathetic, but he "plays the part" of an argumentative host. his audience gets what he's doing--i guess it's a little weird out of context. Smile

jsf holds his own, i think. he did a really good interview on ellen you can google too.
