recent blackouts with exercise

This is probably the incorrect forum to address this but I'm afraid to take it to the medical team because inevitably they will ask "So, what has changed?" and I will tell them I've become a low-fat vegan and started to exercise a tad more frequently. I just know their advice will be to eat meat and see what happens... because that was my threat as just a vegetarian. As a Canadian I can't just fire my doctor and specialists because we get assigned to them so I sadly have to live with them or ignore them and do my own thing. Would anything about being vegan cause blackouts? I'm ok talking to them if I can at least defend myself... so this is why I ask. B12 and iron are normal. I don't think it's because I'm vegan because I have had blackouts before. However they believe they have solved them. They also have previously told me I HAVE to eat meat. I just know what the scape goat will be.... Original blackouts and syncope - ruled out falling seizures and neuralgic issues related to a brain tumor I have. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and blackouts stopped when my sugars were brought down to a fasting level of 8-9mmol/L and weight loss began ( I have a lot to lose). Told to keep lowering my sugars, exercise and lose weight. Exercising followed by dizzines/preblackouts - eventually my internist agreed it's not diabetes eventually looked into cardiac reasons and found a small heart defect and c/w blood shunt. Cleared by cardiologist to exercise again because this will get better if I lose weight and shouldn't impact my life much since it's small. Placed on medical diet (but was still fighting with them because they wanted me to add meat)... On the medical diet my sugars stayed the same and weight stayed relatively constant. They are watching detailed food diaries and suspect it's because I wasn't eating meat. Medical diet isn't effective but stopped the blackouts so it has some benefit in their minds. Vegan kickstart and added 1 extra hour exercise (intro tango) and a bit more strength training with resistance bands with blackouts starting again. 7-8 lbs lost (been on a 8month plateau since starting medical diet), seeing inch loss, seeing added muscle mass, fasting sugars are now 5-6mmol/L (lower than ever) ... this is what they want to see except for the black out coming back... and the only thing that I've done different is lose weight, lower sugars and go vegan. All recent blackouts are following exercise (nothing intense really) always standing position with appropriate cool down maybe 15-20 minutes later.... my sugars are usually at 5-6mmol/L (about a fasting level so a little low for the time of day with food within the past 2 hours) Once my blood pressure was a bit low but it's usually about normal for me (which is about where they would like a diabetic to be) hydration is good (I drink a lot of water anyway). I just know tomorrow afternoon I have an appointment I will be told "We told you to eat meat, what were you thinking going VEGAN!?! No wonder you're blacking out again start eating meat..." *sigh* could being vegan cause this (again iron and B12 test fine)? could it be diabetes (even though my sugars aren't hypoglycemic)? Does 6-8 lbs (most of it was likely water weight as it was lost week 1) in 3 weeks do this?
