so i was looking at the kick start menu plan. i saw the Easy Stir Fry. I think the recipe is a little tooo simple and leaves out information on a low fat stir fry sauce. What is that? Can i buy it? i was looking at my recipes and i don't think they fit the plan. but i do think they are good.. so i will post. You might want to use them after the ks is over. my favorite: Kung Pao (i think from vegweb)-makes ALOT i have learned to half it. 1c Hoisin Sauce, 1 Tablespoon Sambal Oelek, 1 tablespoon Spicy Bean Paste, 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar, 1/2 cup Sugar (i use florida crystals), 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce.-- comebine it all.. Easy Thai-Coconut-so easy and really good. Whisk a 14oz can light coconut milk, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon green curry paste, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or mint in a small bowl till blended. Sweet & Sour-i haven't tried this yet. Stir 1/2 cup Apricot Preserves, 1/4 cup Ketchup, 2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar & 1 tsp minced garlic till blended. Ginger Soy Stir 1/2 cup Orange Juice, 1/4 cup Soy-Sauce, 2 Tablespoon Honey, 2 tablespoon Water, 1 tablespoon grated Ginger, 1 tablespoon minced Scallion, 2 tsp Cornstarch & 1 tsp Sesame Oil in a small bowl till cornstarch is dissolved Garlic Mix 1 tablespoon water & 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch in glass 2 cup measureing cup. Add 1/4 c. minced onion, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup rice vinegar, 4 cloves minced garlic, 3 tablespoons Sesame Oil (i adjust this to taste) 2 teaspoons sugar, and 2 teaspoons chili oil.
