I recently had my yearly blood test done. My HDL is apparently on the low side at 39. My doctor recommends taking Omega 3 for this. I am curious what foods I should be eating more of that may increase this number or IF I should be taking a supplement. However, I am not a big fan of supplementation. The other theory is that exercising helps to increase HDL however, I already exercise regularly. thanks for the help !
