What's to eat..Thrus Jan 27th?

hi all,
me. .. well leftovers one more day.. it's a 12 hour day at work.
b-home... cereal...
l-soup & muffin
d-black bean burger and salad

the good news is i had a similar dinner last night..just added sweet potato fries, and i didn't have any cravings for a snack... maybe i just ate enough food yesterday..

i really like the recipe for spicy carrot & celery soup. It is good in it's simplicity. the flavors are clean .. and it used up those stray carrots and a few stalks of celery.. (so i can buy fresh of course)

this am.. i found a channel on utube that is interesting. it is headveg's channel.. he had a short piece by jeff novick.. pcrms nutrionist.. about vegan fast food...and on the cheap too.. does anyone have the dvd he is trying to sell?

Jeff has a whole array of simple recipes on his facebook page. Most are 5 ingredients and ready in 10 minutes.

So far I had a bowl of steel cut oats and a half a grapefruit. We're digging out from a big snow storm, so I just might be inspired to make another pot of soup. I have leftover Asian stirfry and brown rice, so will probably heat that up for lunch.

I really have to make my dear hubby some muffins or pumpkin bread or whatever today. He was up at 5:00 a.m. to clear our very long driveway. He works in the medical profession and had to get there on time. I called out and so will not be making my usual 40 minute trek each way.

Don't make a New Year's Resolution...make a Decision!

I'm getting hungry after reading the post.

Let's see today
B-Oatmeal w/cinnamon, and rice milk
L-Pineapple curry (Spicy Thai) w/basil, broccoli, peas and pineapple.
D- Tomato and Coconut base soup with cauliflower, zucchini and frozen bag of stir-fry veggies. Coconut curry flavored tempeh on the side and red rice.

I'm so grateful for cut up frozen vegetables.

D: 7" roasted vege sub from Wegmans (YUM!)
S: popcorn w/nutritional yeast

I did ok today, but I'm worried I didn't stay vegan for lunch as I ordered out again at work. It was very good though.

B - bagel with earth balance
snack: apple
L - general tso tofu with brown rice (takeout)
D - homemade vegan lasagna

Hi all. Long day today! I am worn out. It was a day of simple, quick meals. I was on the go, but had time to stop at the grocery store at noon, and Wendys drive-through on the way home.

B: cereal with bananas and soy milk
S: McDougall cup of soup ( tortilla. Yum)
L: salad bar salad with romaine and spinach. And lots of different veggies. Fat free honey Dijon dressing and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds
S: apple. Air popped popcorn.
D: Wendy's baked potato, plain, topped with mixed veggies ( frozen) and sprinkled with nutritional yeast.

I tried popcorn with nutrional yeast for the first time today..It is actually very tastey. I will do that again.
