Halloween

Being new to this and all, what are some readily accessible vegan options for Halloween treats? Home baked goods are frowned upon by concerned parents and fruit is 'boring' for kids (since mom probably already stocks apples and raisins at home anyhow). --Deb

Sorry Deb, I have not participated in Halloween for years. I have no idea! Good luck on your search!

Popcorn is good. There are also some vegan chips. And there are candy options that are vegan, if you're not watching sugar.

I've never been fond of packaged popcorn (homemade would be frowned on by concerned parents, y'know). I suppose chips and pretzels, along with things like lollipops and gum would (mostly) be vegan by default (even if the manufacturer wasn't doing it deliberately). I'm going to be heading out tonight on the way home from work to pick up something - Halloween party here at work tomorrow evening for employees' kids (trick or treat from office to office, pizza, hay rides, pumpkins for all the kids). Thanks --Deb
