RE: Chia oil

Well, the whole food is always best for a variety of reasons (comes with other nutrients not to mention fiber). However, if one were taking a very small and controlled amount of this oil for supplemental purposes, then I suspect that would be all right too.
As a reminder: With a low-fat, vegan diet the added expense of hemp oil may not be needed.
