Question on smilies

How do you make them work? When I use one I get the javascript:addSmiley('Mad');and then the "smilie"

I feel like a real dummy asking this!

Forget smilies! How do I post a picture in my personal "picture" file housed on my hard drive to become my avatar? Can't find a way!

When you click on "Profile," you'll see a section titled "Avatar." Select "Use Gravatar," and then follow the link to Gravatar.com to set up an account. You'll have to upload a photo from your computer to the Gravatar website, and follow their instructions, but once it's complete, you'll have a photo to go with your name. On this profile page, you can also set up your signature, hometown, etc. Good luck!

Appropriate for "2meowers" don't you think? It's a picture of a card I sent to the person that started the 30-day vegetarian challenge that led me to becoming vegan. I sent it to him to "autograph" and I keep it in a book he wrote. Inside says "You've got to have the right cat-itude!"
