moderately high blood pressure
Posted Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 1:53 PM

We were at the store yesterday and J did hi bp on the machine there. It said 150/90. He did it a little later and it went down a bit.

Mine was pretty on target. anyhow, what are some healthy, natural options instead of drugs?
thanks, kc

A low-fat, vegan diet is your best natural option. When the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee submitted its draft report earlier this summer, they were very clear (as the research is crystal clear) that vegetarians/vegans have much lower blood pressure than their non-vegetarian counterparts.

Thanks Susan,

I have been doing this for 7 months but HE will not give up meat. Not just meat, but every meat imaginable. Hé' like that guy that travels the world eating the most disgusting things. Oh, well, I do good enough to take care of myself. Thanks for comments. kc
