My sister who has been diabetic for some years has decided to join me on Dr. Barnards Vegan program. Hooray!! She is on her 4th day and has already tried most of the recipes - she cooks and as you know I don't so I haven't tried any recipes. She has told me which ones she likes and I may try one or two at some point. She doesn't work so she has tons of time to play around with food - she lost her husband to cancer last year and the Vegan way gives her something else to think about and that too is a good thing. Her name is Judy - she doesn't have internet access but if you have a message of encouragement for her I would be happy to pass it along. Cheers!
