help with lunches
Posted Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 12:09 AM
I am trying to eat more healthy. for years,I have been saying I was going to stop eating meat. I am trying again. I have a full time and part time job. I run from one job to another. Any tips on what type of quick food I should make. Any suggestions on snacks?

Hi Jem, PCRM and NutritionMD have provided some easy meal and snack ideas for us. If you go to the meal plan page, click on "Print the 21-Day Kickstart basics grocery list." On the subsequent page, click on the title, "RESOURCES." Under "Meal Planning," you'll see links for meals, snacks, and even healthy snacks for kids. Also, most of the Kickstart recipes are fairly simple and quick to make, as are many of the NutritionMD recipes. Give 'em a try!

The resources available are endless! It can be so helpful to point them out in response to questions. Excellent! Lani

Molly, Thanks. I didn't realize all this information was out there either. I've got some reading to do today. Debbie

mollyhorn wrote: If you go to the meal plan page, Where is this page? I'm lost. A link would be helpful. Thanks! Well, I found the meal plan page - there is a link at the top of the forum. But, when I clicked on the grocery list I didn't see the "Meal Planning" section. I saw "Other" is that the right place?

Hmm... that is strange. Here's a link to the pantry list: http://pcrm.org/kickstartHome/resources/grocery_list.cfm And then a link to the Resources page: http://pcrm.org/kickstartHome/resources/index.cfm
