Hello, I am new to vegan or even vegetarian. Looking for new food options in my life. Also am hoping this will help with weight loss. What kind of weight loss can I expect? Can I still work out on a regular basis?

My husband lost 26 lbs during 2012 and I lost 10! Yes, you can definitely exercise. Just stay away from the junk food, even if it's vegan - like potato chips, pretzels, etc.

The Kickstart is a healthy lifestyle plan. Therefore, you can expect to lose no more than 1 pound per week, depending on your weight at the start. What's really important is the trend over time. You may have weeks with no weight loss, but as long as the trend is downward, you are on a good path!
