I do have Type 2 diabetes and have to watch my carbs, but my rule is everything in moderation (except animal products which are now off the list completely). You can eat sweet potatoes/yams instead of the usual white potato.
I love potatoes in every way, shape and form and eat them guiltlessly...just being careful about portion size.
All we are saying is "Give Peas a Chance"
