RE: Eggs in whole wheat pasta...bread?

most dried pasta doesn't contain eggs. fresh pasta usually does. bread it depends. susan listed some guidelines in another thread, about how much fiber to look for, etc. but i like Vermont Bread Co. or The Baker or Eziekiel Sprouted brands. (sometimes the Eziekiel ones are in the freezer section.) a quick way to check for dairy and eggs is to look at the allergens statement at the end of the ingredients. a lot of commercial bread is full of junk though. i go for ones with 5 or fewer pronounceable ingredients, whole grain as the first ingredient, and (obviously) no animal ingredients. hope that helps!
