Protein and the 21 Day Menu

A few people have emailed with concerns that today's menu doesn't offer enough protein. If you are getting enough calories, you are getting enough protein. The daily menus are hard to add up because the snacks are not analyzed all the time and the DIY recipes or eating out is not factored in - here's an example: Here's today's menu: Breakfast: Cinnamon-Raisin Oatmeal - 7g/protein per serving - some might eat more than 1 serving, which is fine Lunch: Hummus and Veggie Sandwich Hummus is 4.3g/protein but the bread and veggies are not accounted for, which would add to the amount Snack: Apple Slices and Raisins The snack's nutritional content is not analyzed - not a ton of protein her, but would add to the fiber content for sure Dinner: Kickstart Dining Out: Mexican Dinner, since it is eating out is not analyzed, but you can bet that a vegan mexican dinner is a great source of protein with beans, rice and veggies.
