I have an extraordinary opportunity that I sure wish you caould all be a part of. I'm honored to be attending the Dr. John McDougall Advanced Study Weekend in Santa Rosa, CA. A full roster of speakers includes Dr. Dean Ornish, John Robbins, Doug Lisle, Jeff Novick, Daphine Miller..and more, including of course the illustrious Dr. McDougall himself! Another option to consider is the VegSource annual Healthy Lifestyle Conference in the LA area in October. Here's the info on that one: http://www.healthylifestyleexpo.com/index.htm These conferences are really a shot in the arm for creating a healthy lifestyle and a lot of fun, too, to talk with other folks interested in learning more about healthy eating as well as hear top notch speakers
